Elvis Presley was a superstar in the music world who elevated the singer and musician status to that of a hero with millions of adoring fans screaming from adulation. He had many love song hits crooning to his swooning female fans while on stage. He was handsome, talented, popular, and successful at being a romantic rock star. Peter Jarvis, also known as "Silver Elvis", has created a modern futuristic version of Elvis, dressed in silver glitter costumes with silver paint and wig. He poses in vogue style Elvis moves while cameras snap away or crowds gather around him on the street or events where he performs. Following him around in one of his many gigs, at Importfest where he promoted Cadillac cars for a charity raffle by Sound Image, he set up his little stage drum, guitar, and boom box to blast away Elvis songs, next to the 2 customized Cadillacs colored red and orange with back wheels that can go up or down. Passers-by stopped, usually males who took out their cameras to shoot some photos, and some skimpily-dressed females posed beside him. He changed poses constantly as the males with cameras came and went. There was a lot of noise on site so we scheduled his interview next day at studio i. He came without make-up and costume, dressed casually with eyeglasses and cap. He is completely different off-stage from his busker promoter personality! For years, he has played "Super Elvis" and has travelled all over the globe by invitation and has many photos which he intends to put on film some day. Currently he has done some short videos with his own techno music and is promoting Commffest Film Festival. He is married with an understanding wife who does not get jealous over the females who like posing with him. He has performed in many venues in Toronto and street festivals and will continue to do so while branching out to films to promote his career further. He can be booked for private or public events so make sure to keep him in mind for your next party or wedding!
