He lived by the media and died by the media. Michael Jackson died young. It was random, I am sure nobody expected it. I found out the next day when I picked up my metro newspaper. I cannot say I felt anything about the news, I was never a fan in the first place, and throughout the years, the reports on unproved allegations of pedophilia, his strange behaviors, face changes, skin color change and the entire media circus just bored me to tears. He was probably the most famous singer alive, but all the money and all the fans didn’t help him to lead a healthy, happy, long life. It makes you wonder if getting to the top is worth it after all. Yesterday there was the service. I understand his body was carried to the LA staples scene so people could tell him by and he could be celebrated by his colleagues. However I cannot but feel pity for him. Is it asking to much to let a person go after he died? Why carry his body in front of thousands of people eager to get a hold of a famous and a media- super- moment. It was quite shameful, if you ask me. There were people selling their tickets on ebay, one of them got 7000 dollars for a couple of tickets. There are also reports of his ghost being spotted by a TV camera a couple of days ago, as I was informed by a spam email from a friend. Seems this circus won’t end any time soon. I am sad for his kids. I wonder why the family chose to take them to such a spectacle and make one of them speak in public? I am sure the late Jackson wouldn’t have liked that given his obsession with privacy in his last years. His death seems to be due to years of abuse of prescription medication. We are having this quite a lot lately from the stars. Certainly a bad example and pity worthy.
