Often, the word film is equated with independent and commission funding sources and the word movie is more commercial with a bigger budget, although some say it is the same thing. The market determined by the viewers choices will decide which ones actually make a profit, sometimes with the help of big advertising budgets which get the viewers attentions. Entertainment, education, and artistic values are also other factors which are taken into consideration by producers, organizers, managers before screening them to the public. Will paying for a private education which is more expensive teach one the necessary imagination and skills to win awards? Education can help but it does need to teach imagination too because having the skills without it can mean boring films. In filmmaking, with all the competition for the market and attracting the film viewers attention, the edge ahead can be having a unique imagination to show images and people in ways that are stimulating and innovative. There is a difference between entertainment and education films and often the blockbusters at the box office are due to imagination. Before deciding on which film school to attend, research the backgrounds of filmmakers you admire and the films and movies that succeed, to make sure you know what you are getting into before applying for the loan (or selling your house and car). You want to make sure that a film/movie career or business will be worth all that money and time!
